Despite being injured, Argentina and Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero seems to be in high spirits, as is evident in a video posted by the La Albiceleste star on Instagram. He’s seen mixing lateral movements with some bits of Tango as he works his way back to full fitness.

Trabajando con alegria 😁!! Happy at work !! 🕺🏽😎!!

The injury-prone striker took to Twitter on March 11 to reveal an issue with his knee that he expected would keep him out of action for approximately two weeks.

And with the Argentine national team training using Manchester City’s training ground as their base as they prepare to take on European heavyweights Italy (March 23) and Spain (March 27), Aguero was given permission to link up with Jorge Sampaoli’s side during the ongoing international break.

With the wealth of forwards Sampaoli has at his disposal, Aguero can be given a rest for both ties as his club will be desperate to keep him fit as the Sky Blues approach the business end of the season.

A living legend at the Eithad, Aguero became City’s all-time top scorer earlier in the campaign and while they are virtually assured of the Premier League title, they have a mammoth UEFA Champions League clash with English giants Liverpool looming large on the horizon.

Pep Guardiola’s men face Everton for a league match with Everton on March 31 before travelling to Merseyside again for the first leg of their continental fixture on April 4.

With the Carabao Cup already in the bag and the Premier League title on the way, Europe is the final frontier for Aguero and Co.

Fellow forward Gabriel Jesus recently made his comeback from an injury to give Guardiola a selection dilemma and the Catalan tactician is widely expected to rotate his strikers in a bid to keep them as fresh as possible as the 2017-18 season comes to a close.
