Five-time Ballon d’Or winner, highest active international goal scorer, yet ace Portugal footballer Cristiano Ronaldo could not get away without doing a new-boys’ initiation at his new club Juventus.
Former Real Madrid man CR7, who is also club’s highest goal scorer, on Friday got up in front of all his new team-mates and sang a song as part of a welcome procedure that every new signing has to go through.
Despite having a superstar status, Cristiano Ronaldo was not given any special treatment and was hauled up in front of the squad along with Joao Cancelo, Mattia Perin and Emre Can.

In the video, the Portugal captain can be seen singing a classic hit by iconic Portuguese rock band Xutos e Pontapés.
The video was shared by Miralem Pjanic on the photosharing application Instagram. Cristiano will make his competitive debut for the Juventus against Chievo on Saturday, 18 August.
Earlier, speaking about Cristiano Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri had said, “What matters most now are matters on the pitch.”
“The ambition is obviously to go as far as possible in the Champions League, but as always, the Coppa Italia and the Scudetto are also essential to us, because nobody gives out trophies until you earn them on the field,” Allegri added.
“Regarding [Cristiano] Ronaldo, I can say that we have bought a great player on the pitch, but above all, I was told that he is a superb professional, and that is certainly the case. If he wasn’t, he would not have achieved what he has done.”
