Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag, who is known for his witty wishes on celebrities’ birthdays, this time, compared South African star speedster Dale Steyn with the legendary fictional spy James Bond on his 34th birthday.

“Happy Birthday Cricket's James Bond, Steyn Gun @DaleSteyn62 .The stains you caused to the stumps and batsman's toes can't ever be erased,” Sehwag said on Twitter.

Steyn has bagged 417 wickets from 85 Test matches. Besides this, the right-arm pacer has 180 and 58 wickets to his credit from 116 ODIs and 42 T20Is, respectively.

Steyn thanked the Indian cricketer, saying: “Viru! You legend! Thanx a mill bud.”

Steyn shares his birthday with compatriot Kevin Pietersen, who played for England for a short yet impressive span.

Sehwag also wished the former England captain, who scored 13,797 runs from 277 international appearances.

“A very happy birthday @KP24. When we used to play for Delhi, I always thought, This KP will send the ball to CP,” Sehwag tweeted, hailing his ability to hit a ball hard.
