Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his love affair with Vizag is one more reason to worry for the West Indies team ahead of the second One Day International (ODI) match between the two teams on Wednesday.

In the ongoing five-match ODI series between India and West Indies, Virat Kohli’s side has taken a lead of 1-0 after a comprehensive win in Guwahati on Sunday.

Virat Kohli has played four ODI matches at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vizag and has amassed 399 runs at an average of 99.75 with the help of two centuries and two fifties. The Delhi batsman has also won two Man of the Match awards on this ground.

Expressing his love for Vizag, Virat Kohli took to Twitter emphasising that he loves coming back to the venue.

“What a stunning place.👌 Love coming to Vizag. 😎✌,”Virat Kohli wrote on Twitter, sharing a photograph from the venue.

Appreciating the gesture, Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu retweeted Virat Kohli’s post and wrote, “Glad that Visakhapatnam is emerging out to be the loved destination both nationally and globally. Wishing @imVkohli and the team a great match tomorrow.”

On Wednesday, while Virat Kohli-led India will aim to increase the lead, Jason Holder’s team will look to bounce back in the ongoing tournament. On Wednesday, when the two teams will face each-other, Virat Kohli’s will hope Rishabh Pant, along with Ambati Rayudu can fix India middle-order woes with their batting.

Before the start of the series, Virat Kohli has backed Ambati Rayudu to fix his spot at number four. Speaking to the media at the pre-match press conference, Rayudu said, “Obviously it’s great that the top-3 are doing so well for India. It’s a challenge for the middle order to always be ready to get in and bat whenever needed. I am sure everybody are up for it, everybody knows the situation.”
