What a day, what a match, what a performance that was! After their debacle in three-match Test series against South Africa, Indian cricket team showed the world why they deserve to be number one in ODI.

After losing the three-match Test series in South Africa by 2-1, Indian cricket team led by Virat Kohli started the six-match ODI series on a winning note.

India won the first match by six wickets. Following a target of 270 runs, Virat Kohli hit his maiden ODI century in South Africa and guided India to victory.

Even though it was India’s maiden ODI win over South Africa on the Durban ground, Virat Kohli’s 33rd century and former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s winning shot stole all the limelight on social networking sites.

Virat Kohli’ 112 runs off 119 balls and Ajinkya Rahane 79 from 86 balls guided India to victory.

The cricket lovers from across the globe were ecstatic after seeing Kohli make his 33rd ODI 100.

Earlier, after winning the toss South African skipper Faf du Plessis opted to bat and the hosts scored 268 runs in their allotted overs. Following the target, India won the match by six wickets.
