Taapsee Pannu: Actress with the busiest slate this year
Taapsee Pannu is on a roll with a busy slate, films releasing back-to-back in Bollywood. As her new film Tadka released on OTT, here is a look back to her busiest year, 2022.
Indian Women’s One Day International (ODI) skipper Mithali Raj’s biopic was announced a few months ago and, as per reports, Bollywood actress Tapsee Pannu has been offered the lead role in her biopic.
“The script is still being developed. Her story is really inspiring, so the makers want to ensure that they put their best foot forward. The film is delayed, but it’s very much still happening,” a source told Deccan Chronicle.
Mithali Rai is the highest run-scorer in Women’s ODI, she is the only batswomen to cross the mark of 6,000 runs in the limited overs game. Mithali is also the only Indian woman cricketer to score 2,000 runs in T20Is.

Mithali Raj has played 77 T20 matches so far and scored 2,123 runs. Mithali’s highest score in the shortest format of the game is 97*. She has also slammed 15 fifties.
Earlier, Mithali Raj had said that global desi girl Priyanka Chopra will be a great choice to play the lead in her biopic.
“I think Priyanka Chopra will be a great choice (to play me in the biopic). Our personalities match a lot. However, I am not a movie buff, so I would love the experts to do their job,” Mithali Raj told the Times of India.
