Australian run machine Steve Smith and pace bowling spearhead Pat Cummins have maintained their top positions in the batsman and bowlers category respectively in the ICC Test Player Rankings released after the Ashes.

The final Test match of the Ashes Series ended with a massive 135 run win for England but the series ended in a 2-2 draw.

Steve Smith’s 80 and 23 in the final Test match of the Ashes Series has done enough to help him remain as many as 34 points tally ahead of Indian captain Virat Kohli who is sitting at the second place. Smith has a total of 937 rating points.

Meanwhile, Pat Cummins is also way ahead of his other contemporaries as he is enjoying a 57 point lead over Kagiso Rabada after emerging as the top wicket-taker in the series with 29 wickets.
