Earlier, in the first T20I match, Mandhana had scored the fifty on just thirty balls and surpasses Mithali Raj’s record. Indian women’s ODI team skipper Mithali Raj held the fastest 50 record before Mandhana. Raj had taken 36 balls to complete her 50.

And today Mandhana shattered her own records by scoring her half-century on 25 balls.

Mandhana’s 76-run knock against England is also her highest score in T20 cricket. During her knock, Mandhana faced 4o deliveries and struck 12 fours and two sixes.

Earlier, talking about India’s humiliating defeat against Australia, Mandhana admitted that Women-in-Blue were not learning from their mistakes from their previous game. The 21-year-old cricketer blamed herself for the loss and said she threw her wicket away.
