The Supreme Court on Wednesday permitted the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to spend Rs.1.33 crore for the two Test matches being staged in Mumbai and Chennai.
They also allowed the board to spend Rs.25 lakh for three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 matches to be played with visiting England.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) defended the integrity of the electronic voting system, asserting that it was not prone to any external interference or manipulations.
