La Liga giants Real Madrid started their summer transfer window by signing players like Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic and Eder Militao. However, as the transfer window progressed, they failed to draft in some of the other key players. Two players Neymar and Paul Pogba were their main targets but both the deals did not work out. Real Madrid are now targeting Sadio Mane instead.

However, with the transfer window closed, Real Madrid are now looking at other options. According to reports carried by Don Balon, Real Madrid have decided to drop interest from Paul Pogba because Manchester United’s valuation of him at €160-180 million was a little too much for them to deal with.

Reports are also claiming that Real Madrid are now ready to invest in Liverpool superstar Sadio Mane instead of Paul Pogba. Mane is closely being monitored by Real Madrid and even Liverpool may not want to part ways with their superstar forward, a good offer might force Liverpool to reconsider their decision.

Sadio Mane’s addition is expected to add more goals to their team’s tally which Madrid seem to be in need of at the moment.
