LONDON, 28 JUNE: The International Cricket Council has expressed “anger and disappointment” at Federation of International Cricketers’ Associations’ executive chairman Paul Marsh’s allegation that no action had been taken for “six weeks” by the ICC on voting for player representatives.
The ICC stated that its senior executives and leading board members had met Ian Smith on 25 June in London when it was decided that “major progress” was made in removing perceived deficiencies in in the ICC cricket committee election system.
