Students across India are gearing up for a historic moment as Patanjali Gurukulam and Acharyakulam schools all over launch the country’s first-ever National Sports Competition for their students.
The initiative spearheaded by the Indian Education Board aims to promote fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship among young learners.
The grand opening took place on November 9-10 at Haridwar. Patanjali Gurukulam School hosted intense matches of wrestling, judo, and mallakhamb. Nearby Patanjali Acharyakulam School became a hub for basketball, handball, and kabaddi competitions.

The sporting excitement then moves to Agra after Patanjali schools where the city’s GSS Inter College will host volleyball matches on November 13-14. Boys and girls will battle it out on the court. Organizers highlight the choice of Agra as a venue for its perfect blend of history and youthful energy.
Next, Lucknow’s Isabella Thoburn School will welcome students for athletics and badminton events on November 17-18. The running tracks and courts will see a flurry of activity as participants compete in different activities such as sprinting, jumping, throwing, high-speed badminton rallies.
The final leg of the competition will unfold in Jaipur at the American International School on November 21-22.
