Virat Kohli’s statue installed at Jaipur Wax Museum on World Heritage Day
A wax statue of ace India cricketer Virat Kohli was installed at the Jaipur Wax Museum on the occasion of World Heritage Day on Thursday.
India’s NatWest Series final against England is still considered among one of the most nerve-wracking matches and Sourav Ganguly’s iconic shirt-waiving at Lord’s after India won the match is still talked about with fondness among cricket fans.
Talking to India Today, Sourav Ganguly proclaimed that Virat Kohli will go shirtless if India win the 2019 World Cup.
On Saturday, in an interview with India Today, Ganguly once again repeated his famous line in Kohli’s presence. “HE WILL TAKE HIS SHIRT OFF IN OXFORD STREET… We better get our cameras ready. Kohli has his six packs. I won’t be surprised if he takes his shirt off.”

Responding to Sourav Ganguly’s claims, Indian skipper Virat Kohli said, he will walk around shirtless and not just that – he is sure that star all-rounder Hardik Pandya and pacer Jasprit Bumrah will join him.
“I don’t think it will only be me. For sure, Hardik will be following me. 120 percent. Bumrah is there as well because he has six packs too. He is there in the game. There will be a few candidates,” Virat Kohli said.
Indian ‘run machine’ was just 13-year-old when India chased down that record score ( 325) against England on July 13, 2002, under Sourav Ganguly .
After India’s win, millions of Indians around the world celebrated and among them was India’s current captain, Virat.
Remembering the incident, Virat told India Today that he was woken by his brother.
“I clearly remember that night. The game started brilliantly. Those totals were very difficult to get. I slept off when we were five down. I went off to sleep. My brother woke me up and he said we were winning. I was like: ‘what are you talking about?'”
“If you are not yourself, you will sleep with regrets. I am sure that moment was very organic – he did not care whether he was at the Lord’s balcony. He could have been anywhere in the world. That was just pure human emotion coming out.”
