The public dispute between Indian pacer Mohammed Shami and his wife Hasin Jahan is getting uglier with each passing day.

Now in a new development, talking to India Today, Hasin Jahan said that she never accused Mohammed Shami of match-fixing.

“Not a single time I have made any fixing claims. I do not understand the game, so how can I talk about it. It is Shami who is bringing the match-fixing angle,” Hasin Jahan told India today.

“Shami is a liar. He is lying to save himself. Our last conversation was during a WhatsApp call. It was a planned call by him. He asked me how we can save the family. I told him to apologise and admit all the mistakes and comeback,” she added.

Earlier, Hasin Jahan had accused her husband Mohammed Shami of domestic violence, adultery, attempt to murder and even match-fixing.

“If Mohammed Shami can cheat me then he can cheat the county as well. He accepted money from a Pakistani girl named Alishbah in Dubai. He agreed to accept it after the insistence of England-based Mohammed Bhai. I have proof,” Hasin Jahan was quoted saying to ABP News on Thursday evening.

Earlier, following Hasin Jahan’s complaint, an FIR was filed against Mohammed Shami under sections 498A (Husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty), 323 (Causing hurt), 307 (Attempt to murder), 376 (Punishment for rape), 506 (Criminal intimidation), 328 (Causing hurt by means of poison, etc., with intent to commit an offence.), 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code against Shami and 4 others.
