Gearing up for Doha Diamond League, Neeraj eyes elusive 90m throw
The 26-year-old will start his 2024 season at the Qatar Sports Club in May this year when he competes in the Doha Diamond League.

India’s Neeraj Chopra won gold in the men’s javelin event at the Savo Games here on Sunday.
Neeraj achieved a throw of 85.69 metres to finish at the top of the standings.
Chao-Tsun Cheng of Chinese Taipei took silver with an attempt of 82.52m.

The 26-year-old will start his 2024 season at the Qatar Sports Club in May this year when he competes in the Doha Diamond League.
Nadeem, who finished second behind Chopra in Budapest, was recently quoted, saying: “It has now got to a stage where the javelin is damaged and I have asked the national federation and my coach to do something about it before the Paris Olympics.
Nadeem, who came up with the magic mark of 90.18m throw to claim the gold at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games in 2022, on Thursday revealed that the only international standard javelin that he had is currently out of shape. Consequently, Nadeem is currently training with a locally-made javelin but that could lead to injury in the run-up to the Paris Olympics
