Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas edges Sebastian Vettel to win Austrian GP

Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas registered his second victory of the season after he edged Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel by 0.6 seconds to win the Austrian Grand Prix, held in Spielberg on Sunday.

Bottas clocked 1.08.391, while F1 championship leader Vettel completed the race at 1.08.358.

Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull came third as he clocked 1.08.051.

Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton, who won the F1 championship three times, finished fourth with a timing of 1.08.781.

Force India drivers Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocan finished seventh and eighth with timings of 1.12.496 and 1.08.924, respectively.
