Premier League giants Manchester United is expected to lose their star player, Alexis Sanchez, in the summer transfer slot. The fact that he has reportedly missed a scheduled training session with the team has only fuelled the transfer talks.

According to a report carried by The Sun, Alexis Sanchez missed the training session with Manchester United as already had an appointment with the United States embassy in London. The player, reportedly, was looking for a visa so that he could represent his country Chile.

Notably, Chile is scheduled to play Argentina in the United States in September and the striker will be a crucial member of the Chile squad. His significance in the Chile squad can be gauged from his splendid performances for his side during Copa America.

Meanwhile, Manchester United fans are hoping that he replicates his national side success for the club. The 30-year-old has not had a memorable stint with the club and rumours are linking him to an Inter Milan move.

A separate set of reports state that negotiations between Manchester United and Inter Milan have already begun and United seem keen to release their attacking player even at the cost of leaving them short of options.
