Rest of India will face the Ranji Trophy champions in Nagpur from March 14-18.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday announced that star Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is set to replace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja for the upcoming Irani Cup cricket tournament.
Recently Jadeja had suffered a side strain due to which he will not play the match between Ranji Trophy champions Vidarbha and Rest of India squad for the Irani Cup.
“The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named R Ashwin as the replacement for injured Ravindra Jadeja in the Rest of India squad for the Irani Cup. Jadeja suffered a side strain and has been advised rest,” BCCI said in a statement.

R Ashwin, who had recently missed the concluded Deodhar Trophy due to his injury, has recovered and has been declared fit to play.
Indian batsman Karun Nair is set to lead Rest of India squad against the Ranji champions. The Rest of India (ROI) squad is full of star players like Prithvi Shaw, Mayank Agarwal and R Ashwin.
