In the 25th match of Indian Premier League (IPL), played between Kings XI Punjab and SunRiser Hyderabad, Kane Williamson’s side once again defended another low score game on Thursday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.

Here is the stats review of Thursday’s match:

1- Young Kings XI Punjab bowler Ankit Rajpoot’s 5/14 figures in the match is best by any Indian uncapped bowler.

2- Rajpoot surpassed Ajit Chandila’s 4 for 13 for Rajasthan Royals against Pune Warriors at Jaipur in IPL 2012 by achieving this feat.

3- Ankit Rajpoot’s bowling figure on Thursday’s match is also the third best by an Indian bowler in the IPL.

4- Former Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Anil Kumble’s 5/5 in IPL 2009 against Rajasthan Royals is the best bowling figure by any Indian player in IPL.

5- Indian speedster Ishant Sharma, who went unsold in players’ auction this year, has reserved the second spot with his 5/12 against KTK in IPL 2011.

6- On Thursday, Manish Pandey scored the slowest 50 of IPL 2018. Pandey took 48 balls to reach his half-century.

7- In IPL 2018, five foreign spinners have so far taken 50 wickets in the league – Shakib Al Hasan (103), Sunil Narine (103), Muttiah Muralitharan (63), Shane Warne (57) and Imran Tahir (53).

8- Explosive KXIP lineup was bowled out at the score of 119. This is the lowest by any side after getting a 50-run opening stand.

9- On Thursday, only 26 boundaries were hit by both the teams – second lowest in IPL 2018.

10- The first spot is reserved by the Mumbai Indians-SunRisers Hyderabad match at the Wankhede when 25 boundaries were struck by both the sides.
