KKR, RCB look to sort top order batting woes ahead of IPL 2024 face-off
The KKR side boasts of a strong bowling unit, at least on paper, and such under-par efforts with the bat could prove costly to RCB’s chances.
The Governing Council of Indian Premier League have announced that Preity Zinta co-owned franchise Kings XI Punjab will play their first three games in Mohali and last four games in Indore, ‘a home away from home’.
According to the revised schedule of cash-rich league, R Ashwin’s squad KXIP will play first three games in Mohali on (April 15, 19 and 23) instead of Indore.
However, with the new arrangement, Indore will be in profit as now they have one more game in their pocket (May 4, 6, 12 and 14).

The reason behind the change in schedule is said to be the renovation work of Chandigarh airport that will take place from May 12 to 31.
Talking about the move, BCCI acting president and IPL Governing Council member CK Khanna told news agency PTI, “There were logistical difficulties that teams would have encountered had KXIP played their home games in Mohali in May. Therefore the IPL Governing Council has decided that the dates will be swapped and Indore will now host all their matches in May.”
