KKR, RCB look to sort top order batting woes ahead of IPL 2024 face-off
The KKR side boasts of a strong bowling unit, at least on paper, and such under-par efforts with the bat could prove costly to RCB’s chances.
CSK’s matches were shifted from Chennai to Pune amid the Cauvery protest.
Taking care of the interests of their fans and to have the feel of home crowd, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has arranged a special train for its fans from Chennai to Pune, where the team will take on Ajinkya Rahane’s Rajasthan Royals on Friday.
Here is how the train — ‘Whistlepodu Express’ — looks from inside:

Earlier, CSK’s matches were shifted from Chennai to Pune amid the Cauvery protest.
Talking to the media, IPL Chairman Rajiv Shukla had said, “CSK will be asked to move their home matches to Pune as the Chennai police have expressed their inability to provide adequate security for the remaining matches.”
Meanwhile, talking to news agency IANS, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Chief Executive Officer K S Viswanathan had said: “We talked to the Chennai’s Commissioner of Police over the issue. He suggested we shift the matches as the situation is volatile in the city.”
“We have put the ball in BCCI’s court and the board will now take a call on the issue,” Viswanathan added.
