Indian women cricket team led by Mithali Raj will be high on confidence, with their rare double series win over South Africa in the recently concluded ODI and T20I series in the rainbow nation, when they will face the strongest women cricket team of Australia for the upcoming three-match One Day International series.

The opening match of the tournament will be played on March 12. All three matches of the series will be played at Reliance Stadium, Vadodara. Star Sports will broadcast all the matches live on television.

While Australian team will get inspiration from their ‘majestic’ win in both the practice matches against India ‘A’ by 321 runs and seven wickets, respectively, Mithali’s girls will get inspiration from their ‘historic’ win over Australia, in the semi-finals of Women’s World Cup 2017 — their last clash against Meg Lanning’s team.
