The Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) on Friday (6 July) announced Shardul Thakur as the replacement for injured pacer Jasprit Bumrah in India’s One-day International (ODI) squad for England tour.

A few days ago, BCCI had announced that key Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah and off-spinner Washington Sundar had been ruled out of the three-match T20 International tournament due to injuries.

While Krunal Pandya and Deepak were included just for the T20 series, left-arm spinner Axar Patel has been named as Washington’s replacement for the three-match ODI series that starts at Nottingham on July 12.
