The second day of the SAARC Nations Golf Championship didn’t see any change in the overall standings of yesterday. However the Indian team stayed at the top with a cumulative total of 278 for the 2 days, 16 shots ahead of Bangladesh who at 294 are followed by Pakistan at 296, Sri-Lanka at 301, Bhutan at 308 and Nepal at 316.
These 2 rounds decide the individual champion of the tournament. This laurel goes to yesterday&’s leader Aman Raj who despite shooting a round of 2 over 72 warded off the challenge by 2 shorts of his compatriot, Udayan Mane who had best round of the day at 2 under par 68. Lying at 3 rd position is Ismail of Bangladesh who is further 5 shorts behind Mane at 146.
