Wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Saturday took an absolute stunner catch to dismiss West Indies opener Chandrapaul Hemraj in the ongoing third One Day International (ODI) match at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.

In the 6th over of the first innings, Jasprit Bumrah bowled a bouncer to Hemraj and the batsman failed to get his hand higher than the trajectory of the ball. The ball touched the top edge of Hemraj’s bat and went up higher in the air. The ball was about to land in no man’s area but MS Dhoni ran and dived full length to glove it.

After MS Dhoni completed his catch, the crowd went berserk at the stadium.

MS Dhoni has been dropped from the Indian squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against West Indies and the three-match T20I series against Australia in November. The decision has not gone down well with his fans.
