After registering a thumping eight-wicket victory over a young West Indies team in the opening One Day international match of the five-match series, Virat Kohli-led India will aim to increase the lead when the two teams face each other for the second ODI today.

The second ODI between India and West Indies will be played at Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. On Sunday, red-hot form Indian batters chased down the target of 323 runs in 42.1 overs with eight wickets to spare.

In the second ODIs, the Men-in-Blue will once again look for a top-notch performance from India’s upper order batsmen. On the other hand, West Indies team will aim to bounce back in the series.

It is also noteworthy that Indian skipper Virat Kohli needs another 81 runs to become the fastest batsman to score 10,000 runs in the limited overs format, surpassing batting great Sachin Tendulkar.

While Tendulkar had taken 259 innings to reach the landmark, the Delhi batsman has so far batted 204 times.
