South Africa have won the toss and have opted to field against India in the third ODI match at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town, on Wednesday.

The South African team will aim to bounce back after their defeat in the first two ODIs, as they lost the first match by six wickets and the second by nine wickets.

While talking about the third ODI, South African pacer Kagiso Rabada said, “In an ideal world, close to the perfect game, if a lot of people score runs, lot of people take wickets. Or you need individual brilliance. We’ll take either or. We know cricket is a game of ups and downs. We need to go back, see where we’re going wrong, calm down and do our business on the field.”

Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan when asked about what’s afflicting South Africa’s batsmen in the series so far, said, “Wrist spinners can turn the ball even on flat wickets. Because some of the foreign teams are not used to it, these spinners can create an element of doubt in the batsmen’s mind.”

India lead the six-match ODI series with 2-0.
