Intel appoints Santhosh Viswanathan as India region head
Chip maker Intel on Friday said that it appointed Santhosh Viswanathan to head the India region business as its Managing Director (MD).
In the third and last T20 International match of the three-match twenty20 series between India and England, skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and invited Eoin Morgan’s boys to bat first. The match is being played at the County Ground, Bristol.
The three-match T20I tournament is tied at 1-1, and today’s match is also the series decider. If India lose today, it will be the first ever instance when they will lose a three-match bilateral T20I series. Men-in-Blue have a 7-0 win-loss record in 3-matches bilateral series.
After losing the toss, Eoin Morgan said, “We would have looked to chase. all set for a good game though. Cardiff flew through more than we expected. We have one change. Joe Root misses out and Ben comes in. Obviously great to have Ben back..”

Virat Kohli said: “We will bowl first. Looks like a hard wicket. There is some moisture on the wicket. You have to weigh your options. It is just about the balance of the side. A great opportunity for others. It is going to be paramount how these young players react.”
Meanwhile, India’s vice-captain Rohit Sharma is just 15 runs shy from reaching the landmark of 2000 runs in the T20 Internationals. If Rohit scored 15 or more runs in the third T20I, he will become third Indian cricketer after Women’s ODI skipper Mithali Raj and men’s captain Virat Kohli to achieve this feat.
