After thrashing Islanders in their backyard, Indian team is confident about taking South Africa in their home ground. If Virat Kohli’s boys will manage to win the three-match Test series against Proteas, then they will achieve the new feat in the cricket history.

Currently, Indian squad shares its nine consecutive Test series win with Australia. But if Virat Kohli’s side would be able to thrash Africa in the upcoming series then they will become the first team to get to 10 straight Test series win.

Led by Virat Kohli, Indian squad is the table toppers in the current ICC Test ranking. The Indian opener Cheteshwar Pujara believes that the Indian team has the ability to become one of the best cricket teams in the history of cricket.

As per reports in www.sport24.co.za Pujara was quoted saying as, “We have that opportunity,” “If we do well here, in England and maybe Australia.”

“This is the right time and there is no excuse because we have the experience and the team that can dominate overseas.”

“If we do well this will be one of the best teams India has ever had.”

When Pujara was asked about the possibility of 10 consecutive series win the cricketer said, “We don’t speak about records.”

“It comes naturally when you play good cricket and start winning Test matches and series. Our focus is to play good cricket … we have never spoken about records,” Pujara said.
