India A Women stormed into the final of the Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 after a dominant five-wicket victory over Sri Lanka A Women in the first semi-final at the Terdthai Cricket Ground in Bangkok on Friday, February 20.
Chasing a modest target of 119, India A reached 119/5 in just 13.3 overs, showcasing their batting depth and intent. The result secured India A a spot in Sunday’s final, where they will face the winner of the Bangladesh A vs Pakistan A semi-final, scheduled later on Friday.

Radha Yadav stars in an all-round show
Captain Radha Yadav was named Player of the Match for her outstanding all-round performance. She returned figures of 4/19 to dismantle Sri Lanka A’s batting lineup and then anchored the chase with an unbeaten 31.

Vrinda Dinesh led the scoring for India A with a brisk 42 off 20 balls, while Anushka Sharma added 27 off 18 and Nandini Kashyap chipped in with 13 off 16. Tejal Hasabnis (3 off 6) and Minnu Mani (2 off 2) provided finishing touches as India A wrapped up the chase with ease.
Sri Lanka A bowled out for 118
Earlier, Sri Lanka A were bowled out for 118 in 19.4 overs after opting to bat. Sanjana Kavindi top-scored with 31 off 35 balls, while Shashini Gimhani contributed 22 off 17. However, Radha Yadav’s four-wicket haul ensured Sri Lanka never built significant momentum.
India A eye title defence
India A entered the tournament as defending champions and have now earned a chance to retain their title. They finished at the top of their group despite a surprise opening loss to UAE, bouncing back with emphatic wins over Pakistan A (by eight wickets) and Nepal (by seven wickets).
