Murali Vijay scored a hundred (155) and Skipper Virat Kohli was batting at 156 when the play was called off for the day. Vijay and Kohli cemented the innings by completing a 200-run partnership. India lost opener Shikhar Dhawan (23), who became off- spinner Dilruwan Perera’s 100th Test victim, and Cheteshwar Pujara (23) in the morning session.
