After former Australia cricketer Adam Gilchrist suggested that he was perhaps not out when Harbhajan Singh had him LBW during the historic hat-trick way back in 2001, the off-spinner lashed out at him telling that Gilchrist is “always crying”.

It all started when a user tweeted the video of Harbhajan’s Test cricket hat-trick in Kolkata in 2001 with the caption: “In 2001,Historic Kolkata Test, Bhajji takes a Hattrick V Steve Waugh’s Invincible Aus Team. @harbhajan_singh became the 1st Indian to take a Test

Retweeting it, Gilchrist, who was the second victim in Harbhajan’s hat-trick, wrote: “No DRS.”

However, a furious Harbhajan took the matter personally and replied: “U think u would have survived for long if not a first ball? Stop crying over these things mate..thought u would talk sense after ur playing days.. but few things never change u r the prime example of that. Always crying,”

Notably, Harbhajan in 2001 home series against Australia became India’s first bowler to claim a Test match hat-trick.

Pacer Jasprit Bumrah recently became only the third Indian bowler to get a hat-trick in the white-ball game during the second Test against the West Indies. Irfan Pathan had achieved the feat in 2006 against Pakistan.
