Indian skipper Mithali Raj has slipped to number three spot in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) One-day International (ODI) rankings.

Meanwhile, Australian all-rounder Ellyse Perry, who is also the winner of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Award for the ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year 2017, added another feather to her cap by achieving the number-one batting position. This is the first time that Perry has moved to the top of the table.

The second spot is reserved by Aussie skipper Meg Lanning who is just seven point behind her teammate Ellyse Perry. Raj slipped to the third spot after her mediocre performance in the three-match ODI series between India and South Africa. She is 11 points behind Lanning.

Meanwhile, Indian vice-captain Harmanpreet Kaur also dropped two places in ICC ODI ranking following scores of 16, 55 not out and 25 in the just concluded India-South Africa ODI series. However, opener Smriti Mandhana has vaulted 14 places to sit just outside the top-20 at the 21st position.

Mandhana had an impressive series, scoring 84, 135 and zero, which has made her the leading run-scorer with 219 runs after the first round of the ICC Women’s Championship.
