Cricket Australia is investigating the incident involving their vice-captain David Warner and Proteas wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock after a video footage has gone viral on the internet in which the duo can be seen engaged in a heated argument.

On the fourth day of the opening Test match of four-match Test series between Australia and South Africa, Warner was seen confronting de Kock during the tea break in Durban.

Kangaroos are just one step away from taking a lead of 1-0 in the ongoing series but the limelight of the series has gone to their unsavoury behavior, mainly upon Aussie opener David Warner who had demonstratively celebrated the runout of AB de Villiers.

The situation has now got worse after a CCTV footage published by South African outlet Independent Media surfaced purportedly showing Warner and de Kock engaging in a verbal fight as players of both teams made their way to the dressing rooms at tea break.

In the video, Australian player Usman Khawaja can be seen restraining Warner. Later, skipper Steve Smith dragged him into the dressing room.

Talking about the incident, a Cricket Australia spokesperson was quoted as saying, “CA is aware of reports of an incident between players in Durban.”

“CA is working to establish the facts of what has occurred and will not be commenting further until that has been done,” the statement added.
