Eden Hazard’s Chelsea teammate Cesc Fabregas has urged him to not leave the Premier League club amid the rumours that Belgium forward is bound for Real Madrid.

Ace Belgium footballer Hazard had revealed during the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia that he was considering leaving the club, however, Fabregas has begged him not to go. Eden Hazard had joined Chelsea five years ago in 2012 from Lille.

Speaking to media at a press conference, Fabregas said, “I think he’s our best player,” adding, “We are a top club, we want to be a top team, we want to win things, and for that you need your best players. Eden is one of them.”

“He’s a player that we all love to play with, especially me. For us, he’s our most important player,” Cesc Fabregas added.

“Everyone loves him — the fans, the club, the players, and we need him. He knows that,” the Spanish footballer added.

On Monday, Chelsea will play its first match under new coach Maurizio Sarri, and the 31-year-old footballer cannot wait to see how it unfolds.

“It’s a way of football that I believe in, that I really like, that I grew up in this system,” Cesc Fabregas said, adding, “For the type of player like myself, we can take a lot of advantage.”
