Even though Mahendra Singh Dhoni is no longer the captain of Indian team, yet one can often witness current skipper Virat Kohli taking his suggestions and using his experience and expertise in India’s favour.

Meanwhile, a video of the duo from the opening One Day International (ODI) match in Durban is getting viral on the internet in which one can hear them talking about South African batsmen and Dhoni praising Kuldeep Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Yuzvendra Chahal.

In the video, Dhoni can even be heard saying, “shaabaash (well done) Cheeku.”

In the first ODI, Virat Kohli’s squad managed to outclass South Africa in the opening match and took 1-0 lead in the series.

After losing the three-match Test series in South Africa by 2-1, Indian cricket team led by Virat Kohli started the six-match ODI series on a winning note.

India won the first match by six wickets. Following a target of 270 runs, Virat Kohli hit his maiden ODI century in South Africa and guided India to victory.

Even though it was India’s maiden ODI win over South Africa at Durban, Kohli’s 33rd century and former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s winning shot stole all the limelight on social networking sites.
