Wrestling: Vinesh Phogat, Aman Sehrawat to lead India’s Paris quota hunt
The continental qualifier, which concludes on April 21, will be the penultimate opportunity for Indian wrestlers to secure a quota for the upcoming Summer Games.
Wrestler Vinesh Phogat bagged a gold medal in women’s 50 kg freestyle wrestling category at the ongoing Asian Games 2018 on Monday (August 20).
The 23-year-old Vinesh thrashed her Japanese opponent Yuki Irie in the 50-kilogram women’s Freestyle final and become the first woman from India to win a gold in the category at the Asian Games.
From megastar Amitabh Bachchan to Akshay Kumar, a number of B-town celebs congratulated the golden girl.
