Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has undergone successful surgery on his right foot and will be out of action for three months.
The Spaniard revealed on Thursday the success of the operation through photos posted on his Instagram account, commenting “Surgery done! It was perfect! Looking forward to be back at the #emiratesstadium with you! @arsenal”, reports Efe.
Cazorla, 31, sustained his injury during the Champions League game against Bulgarian side Ludogorets last October 19.
Last season, the midfielder was sidelined for seven months due to a knee injury.
This season Cazorla has played 11 games with Arsenal and scored two goals, against Watford and Southampton.
