4th ODI: Virat Kohli hits century as India eye big total

Indian skipper Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten century off 76 balls as India reached 200/1 in 25.5 overs of the fourth ODI against Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on Thursday.

Kohli struck 131 runs off 96 balls, losing his wicket to Sri Lankan skipper Lasith Malinga in the 30th over.

Rohit Sharma (90*) was cruising for India after the early dismissal of Shikhar Dhawan (4), who lost his wicket to Malinda Pushpakumara in the second over.

Earlier, India won the toss and opted to bat in the fourth One-Day International (ODI) against Sri Lanka here on Thursday.

India made three changes to their squad. Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, all-rounder Kedar Jadhav and pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been replaced with pacer Shardul Thakur, who makes his debut, and chinaman Kuldeep Yadav and batsman Manish Pandey, who were brought in.
