You can take inspiration from the recent Runway Bridal show which delighted fahionistas and brides-to-be in the capital. It heralded the season for the big fat Indian wedding. Soon it will be October and the cold months will set in, the perfect time for Indian weddings.

The latest and fifth edition of the Runway Bridal, which was held on September 2-3 at the Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi, showcased the latest and hottest bridal trends in fashion, jewelry and wedding services.

True to its promise of being a unique bridal shopping experience, this year’s participating designers, jewelers and wedding décor brands included some of the biggest names in the industry.

Designers like Rohit Bal, Ritu Kumar, JJ Valaya, Anju Modi and Ashima Leena showcased their bridal couture lehengas.

Shri Hari Diagems by Vinay Gupta, Swarovski, Jaipur Jewels, Shree Raj Mahal Jewellers and Js Solitaire stalls had some statement-making and elegant bridal jewellery. R2S events and weddings lit up their space with romantic lighting and blooming floral decorations and Ekaani flaunted envy-worthy wedding gifts.

From Chocolatiers to makeover artists, wedding gifts to invites, fairy-tale décor to sparkling diamonds to traditional jewels, trousseau wear to bridal lehengas, Runway Bridal had it all! It put its best foot forward to cater to the needs of Delhi’s elite fashion forward crowd.

Present at the carnival were Tarun Tahiliani, Ritu Kumar, Manav Gangwani and actor Kunal Kapoor among others.
