Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday launched a ‘digital book’ to document the alleged injustices and victimisation faced by party workers and leaders under the TDP-led NDA government.
The initiative mirrors the ‘red book’ maintained by TDP leader Nara Lokesh during his padayatra, which recorded alleged atrocities committed against TDP activists during the YSRCP’s rule.
YS Jagan promised that once his government returns to power, a probe would be launched against those responsible for the alleged vendetta and harassment of YSRCP activists. The digital book serves as both a portal and an IVRS system for activists to lodge complaints.
Following the model of Nara Lokesh’s red book, which documented alleged wrongdoings against TDP activists, YS Jagan’s digital version allows YSRCP workers to submit complaints online. He has frequently accused the Chandrababu Naidu government of unleashing “red book terror” against party activists.
The digital book enables people across the state to report local incidents with supporting evidence, including photographs, documents, and video recordings. For those without internet access, a toll-free IVRS number has been provided, and the complaints submitted through this system will be integrated into the portal.
While launching the initiative, YS Jagan said the digital book would serve as a permanent record of injustices committed against YSRCP members. He added that once the party returns to power, a special investigation team would be formed to probe each case.
“Even if someone retires, moves abroad, or leaves the state, we will pursue the case, bring the culprits to justice, and ensure accountability,” YS Jagan said. He accused the TDP government of using police to silence critics, stating, “Those responsible will face the courts. Neither police nor coalition leaders can escape accountability.”
The digital book also references “Jagananna 2.0”, as the party gears up for the next election.
