Yogi, Mayawati, Akhilesh lead tributes as Dharmendra passes away

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BSP supremo Mayawati, and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, along with several other political leaders, have expressed their condolences on the death of prominent Bollywood actor and former BJP MP Dharmendra in Mumbai on Monday.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in his condolence message said, “The passing of popular film actor Shri Dharmendra ji is deeply saddening and an irreparable loss to the world of art and cinema. Humble tributes to him!.”

“I pray to Lord Shri Ram to grant salvation to the departed soul and strength to his bereaved family and fans to bear this immense loss. Om Shanti!,” he further said.

BSP chief Mayawati, in her message said, “The news of the passing of veteran actor Mr. Dharmendra, one of the most renowned figures in the Indian film industry, is deeply saddening. Renowned for his affability, compassion, and cheerful nature, Mr. Dharmendra long ruled the hearts of film enthusiasts and film buffs. My deepest condolences to his family and his many fans. May God give them all the strength to bear this loss.”

SP president Akhilesh Yadav has also expressed his condolences, claiming that it was an irreparable loss to the world of art and cinema.
Several BJP leaders from. Mathura and Vrindavan also expressed their condolence.

Hemamalini, wife of Dharmendra, is a BJP MP from Mathura.
