Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) election campaign in Bihar on Thursday, ahead of the upcoming state assembly polls, reaffirming the party’s commitment to fast-tracking the state’s development through the “double-engine” model of governance.
Before addressing rallies, CM Adityanath paid homage to the sacred land of Goddess Sita, underscoring Bihar’s cultural and spiritual heritage. He emphasized the BJP’s vision of progress powered by coordinated efforts between the Centre and the state government.
Taking to social media, Yogi Adityanath wrote,”Namaskar, sisters and brothers of Bihar! Today, I have the privilege of visiting Danapur and Saharsa — the sacred land of Mata Janaki and the wisdom-filled soil of Lord Buddha. This is the true strength of our democracy.”
Reiterating the party’s development agenda, he said,”The double-engine government will continue to drive Bihar’s growth with greater speed, dignity, and pride.”
According to party officials, CM Yogi’s campaign in Bihar begins today with two rallies, one in Danapur and another in Saharsa, to bolster support for BJP candidates. His visit marks the start of a high-energy campaign schedule that includes plans to address nearly 25 rallies across the state over the next few weeks.
Bihar is set to go to the polls in two phases on November 6 and November 11, and the BJP is positioning CM Adityanath as a key campaigner to energize the party’s base and communicate its development narrative.
