WB Police Constable Recruitment: The date for the Preliminary Written Test for Constable posts in the West Bengal Police has been released. The exam wil be held on September 23, 2018, from 12 noon to 1 PM.
Candidates who have applied must note that admit cards will be available for download on the official website of West Bengal Police from September 8, 2018, http://policewb.gov.in/
Candidates will require to submit date of birth and application serial number to download the admit card.
They will have to produce the printout of their admit cards at the allotted venues when they appear in the West Bengal Constable prelims test.
“Neither any paper Admit Card will be issued or sent by post to the candidates who have applied on-line nor will it be made available from the office of the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board,” said a statement issued by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board.
It said all efforts would be made to deliver SMS alerts to the registered mobile number of the candidates regarding the exam and admit cards.
However, the board has specified that it will not be responsible for non-delivery of such SMS.
Candidates are advised to follow instructions given on the admit card. They are also advised to visit the official website on a regular basis.
Mobile phones banned
Candidates found carrying a mobile phone, digital wristwatch or any other electronic gadget like calculator, Bluetooth-enabled hearing device or any other copying material will not be allowed to sit for the written test and shall be turned away from the gate, said the statement.
It also warned the applicants that any type of canvassing during the recruitment process would lead to cancellation of candidature.
