Voters endorsed the promise of a developed Bihar in the first phase itself: Yogi

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, praising the voters after the first phase of voting in the Bihar Assembly elections, said that the people have endorsed the idea of a developed Bihar.

Chief Minister Adityanath wrote on his social media account, “Voters have endorsed its trust and blessings on the BJP-NDA government’s resolve for a developed Bihar in the first phase of voting.”

He said that today he will interact with the people of East Champaran and West Champaran, the pilgrimage sites of Satyagraha and nationalism, and the people who love good governance.

He said that every Champaran resident is determined to build a developed Bihar and bring the BJP-NDA government back.

The first phase of voting in the Bihar elections concluded peacefully yesterday. A record 64.66 per cent of the votes were cast in the first phase for the Bihar Assembly in 121 seats. The electoral fate of 1,314 candidates has been sealed in EVM machines.

The main contenders in this round include BJP leaders and Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with 16 ministers from Nitish Kumar’s cabinet, and RJD leader and Grand Alliance’s chief ministerial candidate, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav.
