While the leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday boasted about the achievements of the BJP government in the last four years, the Congress didn’t leave a stone unturned in claiming that the BJP government’s claims of success are farce.

In the latest attack on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress on its official Twitter account shared a video mocking the work done by Modi in last four years.

The video starts with a question in Hindi “what did PM Modi do in last four years (2014-2018)” which is followed by an old Bollywood song ‘tera naam liya…” Referring to the times Modi used the name of Pt Nehru in his speeches, Congress used the song with Nehru’s picture in Modi’s thoughts.

The video went on to show what the Modi government will do in the upcoming year, coupled with several edited clippings of PM Modi and some of the BJP leaders dancing on the song ‘Havan karenge’ follows.

Congress shared the video with  the tweet, “As PM Modi completes 4 years in Govt, we are celebrating #BasEkAurSaal with this fun video.”

In another tweet, the Congress shared several graphics to attack the ruling government. In one of the tweets, it said, “Modi Govt has made misleading claims of its achievements. Even if those claims are taken at face value, they took 4 years to complete 3% of the work! How long would they have taken if they had to complete all of it?”

Meanwhile, BJP national president Amit Shah on Saturday asserted that BJP’s return to power in 2019 is “not a challenge but a certainty”.

On the Modi government’s fourth anniversary, Shah listed details of its “successes”.

Projecting Modi as the “most popular and most hardworking prime minister with unending energy”, Shah said in a press conference that he (Modi) replaced the UPA’s policy paralysis with a policy-driven government working for the poor and improved economy while also raising the country’s esteem in the world.

Asked about the ‘achhe din’ (good days) promised by the BJP-led ruling alliance when it came to power, Shah said the government has “done a lot to fulfil its promises in four years and one year is still left.
