Vice President CP Radhakrishnan arrived in Jaipur on Saturday morning on a brief visit to the Rajasthan capital.
He landed at the Sanganer International Airport at around 9:30 am, where he was accorded a warm welcome by dignitaries from various walks of life.
Haribhau Bagade, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa, Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, along with senior administrative and police officials, were present at the airport to receive him.
During his visit, the Vice President is scheduled to attend the 35th Convocation of the University of Rajasthan and the 23rd Cancer Survivors’ Day event organised by Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre.
CP Radhakrishnan is expected to return later in the afternoon.
