In a strict move to control pollution in the national capital, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday announced that her government has decided that vehicles without a valid PUC (Pollution Under Control) certificate will no longer be provided fuel in Delhi.

“All petrol pumps and fuel agencies have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the rules,” the Delhi chief minister said on X.

He further stated that vehicles without a valid ‘Pollution Under Control’ certificate will not be provided petrol, diesel, CNG, or LPG at fuel stations across Delhi.

Expressing her government’s commitment to public welfare, CM Gupta said that the move was necessary to tackle the challenge of air pollution.

“Taking strong and effective measures to tackle the challenge of air pollution is the need of the hour, and our government is continuously working in this direction with full commitment, strong willpower, and dedication to public welfare,” CM Gupta added.
