Besides linking family Unique Identification Numbers of the beneficiaries with government social welfare schemes, families included in it will be able to access their benefits online directly in a click.

In another important decision, the state cabinet stamped the proposal for increasing the ex gratia amount for disaster victims in Dharali and other parts of the state.

As per cabinet decision, the assistance for families of deceased has been increased from present ₹4 lakh to ₹5 lakh.

Compensation for damaged concrete (Permanent) houses will be ₹5 lakh. Apart from this cabinet has also decided to increase one lakh rupees financial assistance from CM relief fund in addition to the amount fixed as per norms for disaster relief compensation to the damaged kuchha house owners.
