UPSC CS (Preliminary) examination: The Union Public Service Commission will close the online registration for UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2019 tomorrow. The candidates who have still not registered should do so by March 18, 2019 at the official website- upsc.gov.in

According to the official calendar, the UPSC CS Preliminary examination will be held on June 2, 2019.

The candidates should fill the online applications on the official website-upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.

UPSC Preliminary examination: Important dates

• Online application ends: March 18, 2019

• Date of Preliminary examination: June 2, 2019

• UPSC Civil Service (Mains) examination: Commences from September 20, 2019

Age limit:

• Interested candidates should be between 21 to 32 years of age.

• However, reserved category candidates will get age relaxation according to government norms.

UPSC CS recruitment process:

• The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Preliminary examination, Mains examination and Interview.

• The Preliminary examination will consist of two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each.

• Both the question papers will be of the objective type (multiple choice questions) and each will be of two hours duration.
